Blanks:

The first and probably most important part of your custom rod is the blank.  With recent advances in graphite compounds, fiberglass and other materials it is possible to find high quality blanks for any fishing style

I use the finest brands of blanks on the market including CF Burkheimer, Thomas and Thomas, R.L. Winston, Sage, St Croix, Gatti, and CTS Composites and other market leading blank manufacturers

Grips:

I hand turn each grip from various natural corks, burls and exotic woods.  Using various techniques I can create you an exceptionally beautiful and unique grip for your custom rod.

Wraps and Guides:

Line Guides and wraps are not just functional, they can add an amazing amount of character and beauty to a rod.

With any number of thread and epoxy color combinations and high quality line guides your rod will be truly unique.

Reel Seats:

Whether you want a light weight and sturdy titanium reel seat, or looking more for the beauty of a natural hand-made wood seat the option is yours.

You can choose from a world of variety regarding reel seats, Guides, grips, guide wraps.  Have a special piece of wood you want to use? I can do it!  I offer components made by a number of manufacturers, and also many custom made.

Price:

As with anything in life, there is always the question, what does a custom rod cost?  Now for the surprising news, usually less than the comparable manufactured model, even though it may contain better components!

How can I do that? Simple, no overhead, and not a need to make a living at it.
